The card protector for WillWonka, the HUC3 winner, has been ordered. He selected a 8 of clubs and 9 of hearts, his final winning hand in the HUC battle. The card procector will be engraved with "Will Wonka - 2006 Heads Up Champion". Below is an example of how it will look:

I love playing Heads Up! Why? Cause the games are short. There is lots of action. I'm pretty good at it. And it is oh sooo satisfying to whip a man on the virtual felt. I don't mind a Catfight periodically, although, they are not nearly as appealing.

Mildly mentally challenged, TripJax spends his days chasing squirrels and his nights eating squirrels. When not chasing or eating squirrels, TripJax sells his signature Mystery Meat Soup on eBay and uses the proceeds to enter Heads-Up matches at various poker sites under the screen name NutNButNuts.

Jordan from High On Poker is a Sagitarius. He enjoys playing poker and recreational drug use. In his free time he paints, writes Haikus and enjoys a good book. His favorite smell is sulfur and his favorite color is lemon chiffon. Jordan was the originator and commissioner of the HUC1 and HUC2, and is proud to have Veneno as the new Commisioner of the HUC3. Best known for his participation in numerous blogger tourneys (DADI, WWdN) in the wee hours of the morning - he's located in Germany (ET+6) so most tournaments mentioned above are starting at ridiculous times like 2:30am.

The love of the game and the search for a tough game to beat are more than enough motivation to repress the need of sleep.

I played the first HUC and had a blast, albeit outmatched. I missed getting into the second HUC by two minutes and six seconds. Once I missed HUC2, I started realizing other things I've missed out on in my life. I've never painted a big ball with polka dots. I've never farted in a hurricane. I've never punched a police person in the mouth. I've never drank enough alcohol to be admitted to the hospital for alcohol poisoning. I've never even urinated off the Eiffel Tower. So since then, I've done every one of those things I mentioned and I'm not feeling so good these days. If I missed the HUC3, I'd be worried I would be reminded of even more fun and exciting activities that I haven't tried. It could kill me. So having the ability to play in HUC3 is saving my life.

Hopefully I will get the matches done in 14 minutes or less.

The "special" person to open the event in a couple of HU matches with Veneno is none other than Flux(DP). He deserves a chance to improve his ranking with the Poison. I think this boy is out for blood. Should I be nervous! Nah...

The final HUC match will take place this Thursday night. I have put in a request with Full Tilt to set-up a private "Lounge" for the railbirds. Also, I'm planning to set-up an opening match. Let's see who will show to take on the Poison?

Wow!!!! We are down to the last two competitors. WillWonka took out L'Artiste to make it to the final round. Go check out the details on his recent post. They played 3 games with the last one lasting more than 140 hands. Sounds like an excellent battle.

So now WillWonka will take on FishyMcDonK in the final match for our new Heads Up Championship. Stay tuned for the dates and times. It is sure to be exciting!
